I hadn't put this project up previously, but thought it would be nice to see its progress. When we first bought the property in 2019, most of the backyard was covered in drainage gravel.
We had initially turfed it, then decided we wanted a garden. It started out a triangular bed of widely spaced pot plants and a straight paved path along the house. Below is the implementation and establishment of a Mediterranean herb garden.

June 2023 - punnets of herbs going into ground; left side of path still lawn

September 2023 - left side of the path completed. | September 2023 - right side of the path establishing. |
Herbs used: rosemary, french lavender, spanish pink lavender, another kind of purple lavender, oregano, marjoram, creeping thyme, lemon thyme, curry plant, chives, sage.

September 2024 - after a tidy up as the herbs had overgrown the path!

The "before" shot. Marked the area where the garden is now!
