Dust analysis

I sent soil samples from five spots on my property to Macquarie University’s VegeSafe program. It involves registering, collecting the top 2cm of soil from a 15cm x 15 cm area across up to 5 spots on the property. After double-bagging and labelling each sample, filling out a form, it was approx $18 postage to their campus for processing. Results were emailed within just 2 weeks.

It is a free service and samples contribute to soil data collection across Australia. They’ll accept donations to their program too, and I think it is worth supporting something like this!
